Agency Description:
AACY champions youth who care for chronically ill, injured, elderly or disabled family members, supports their role as caregiver, safeguards and celebrates their success in school and life.
It is the only agency in the nation solely dedicated to connecting caregiving youth and their families to supportive health, education, and community resources that ease burdens and ensure their successful future. With academic and personal support in and out of school and at home for them and their families, they know they are no longer alone, have demonstrated better health and dramatically improved high school graduation rates and entry into post-secondary education.
