Program Description:
The Adult Learning Center serves individuals who are desiring to obtain a GED, HSED, English Language Learners (ELL) or wishing to upgrade basic skills in reading, language or math. Training and education services are offered through workshops, on-site instruction and financial support for education. On-site instruction is available through the Adult-Learning Lab for upgrading of basic skills or gaining GED or High School Equivalency Diploma.
Learn to read, write and speak English with Gateway’s ELL program. Our free ELL classes meet two days a week for six hours per week. You’ll start with an orientation that helps instructors find the best starting place for you. You only pay for the cost of a textbook and workbook that you’ll use the whole year.
No matter what languages you already know, our English as a Second Language instructors can help you master English with face-to-face activities in the classroom and with technology.
