Program Description:
The Brain Injury Resource Center of Wisconsin (BIRC of WI) is a non-profit organization that provides information and resources to families and survivors who are living their lives after brain injury. We do not provide Medical, Rehabilitation, or Legal Services. What we do is help you and your family as you navigate the journey through life after brain injury, no matter where it takes you. Our Resource Library is packed with educational materials that target living life after brain injury. Our website is also full of information and resources. - Maintains an extensive resource database of specialized services for those living with a brain injury or their caregivers. https://www.bircofwi.org/welcome-to-the-bird-a-to-z-database/ - Apply for a Brain Injury Wallet Card - You will be required to complete a Resource Facilitation Form as part of the application process. Contact the office for full information. https://www.bircofwi.org/brain-injury-identification-card/ - Home of the BIRCofWI Gifts, which sells creative art pieces handmade by TBI survivors. All whose proceeds go directly to support the organization's mission, programs and services, provide education and awareness opportunities.
