Eligibility:
Kenosha County residents who have a disabling condition that prevents them from using the city bus. Paratransit certification required. Rider certification is conducted by Kenosha Area Transit. You must complete an application and have your physician certify the information. The application process enables us to understand your functional ability to use transit. You may use Carepool for two round-trips prior to returning a completed application. Online: https://www.kenosha.org/departments/transit/paratransit_service.php
Fees:
One-way transportation is $4.00; One-way transportation to a senior meal site is $1.00. Please have the exact fare, change cannot be given. You may also call Carepool to request a app to schedule and pay fares. Please let the scheduler know if you need a personal care attendants when you call to schedule the ride. Approved personal care attendants may travel at no charge. You must indicate you require assistance from an attendant when you apply for para-transit services.

Ambulatory and wheelchair transport. Call to arrange a ride. ** Can leave reservations on Voicemail. Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Can apply for Rider Certification online through the City Transit site: https://www.kenosha.org/departments/transit/paratransit_service.php
