Participants must live in Racine/Kenosha counties, be 60 years or older, and be income eligible. Monthly income limit (before tax deduction), One person household: $1957/month; Two person household: $2644/month. Program Description:
The Cupboard Bound provides a monthly supplemental food package that includes: canned fruits and vegetables, juice, dry or canned milk, cheese, canned meat, peanut butter or dried beans, cereal, rice and instant potatoes or pasta. Participants complete an annual certification in person, and can then pick up one box each month. Food boxes may be picked up for someone else, as a Proxy, contact site for more details. Can participate in the Cupboard Bound Program even if already receiving food stamps or participating in other commodity programs. Call sites for pickup dates and times.
