Program Description:
Custom Canines Service Dog Academy is a non-profit organization of volunteer professionals and individuals who train service dogs. All dogs are placed at no cost to the recipient. Dogs can be specialized to work as guide dogs, visual companion dogs for children, service dogs, mobility dogs, or Autism assistance Custom Canines Owner Trainer Academy (CCOTA) is a unique and innovative program offered to individuals living with disabilities who wish to train their own service dog. Students will be guided through a customized training curriculum with Custom Canines service dog instructors offering mentoring, coaching and advocacy for each dog and student team. *You may experience wait lists at times.
