Program Description:
The Diabetic Clinic at Froedtert South employs a team of doctors, nurse educators, clinical pharmacists, dieticians and social workers. The clinic educates and supports patients with diabetes by helping with: - Meal planning - Developing exercise programs - Prescribing medication - Treating diabetes-related problems - Monitoring blood sugar, cholesterol and blood pressure The Diabetic Clinic treats patients with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes and with gestational diabetes. It offers an insulin pump program. The clinic provides complete evaluation and treatment for all diabetic conditions and their complications for patients of any age. Our specialists work closely with the family physician and send full reports after each visit. Please call one of our certified diabetic educators with any questions or to schedule an appointment
