Program Description:
Farm Assessment and Rehabilitation Methods (FARM) is a program designed to help individuals and families cope with the effects of a disability and make it possible for them to return to farming after a disabling injury or illness. Rural rehabilitation specialists statewide provide on-site rehabilitation assessments and recommendations. FARM provides information on equipment, work site modifications, community and health care options, and job restructuring. FARM also provides referral to funding sources (e.g. DVR) and assistance with obtaining adaptive equipment through equipment exchange program.
