Program Description:
Emergency food pantry offers food and goods to families in need. The amount of food varies based on the size of the family. Families may receive food from the pantry once a month, in order to do so they must provide picture ID, proof of the number of household members, and proof of Kenosha residency. Individuals with a disability or frail older adults can make arrangements to arrive at the center early, 8:30am-9:45am, to be assisted with picking up food. If you are unable to pick up your own pantry items, you can arrange to have someone pick up for you, but if you are a FIRST time pantry participant, you must present in person with ID , proof of residence and the information about the person who will be picking up your items for you. Their information will be added to the system and allow them to pick up for you moving forward. * Also offers personal hygiene and cleaning supplies when available, during any scheduled food pantry session. * Special Veteran's hours (sign up first thru the Division of Veteran Services office at the KCJC) after signing up, Veterans can participate weekly, during distribution *Must sign up at Veteran's Services office first. **Is a participating location for the Cupboard Bound Program.(CSFP) Call for details, must bring valid ID and recent piece of mail with your name on it.
