Program Description:
KHDS is an active participant in the Kenosha Coordinated Entry System, using a "no Wrong Door" approach to ensure single adults, youth, and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness can connect with the help they need without barriers. This is done through a combination of Rapid Rehousing programs, Permanent Supportive Housing programs, and targeted community outreach. KHDS works to transition households out of homelessness and into permanent housing as quickly as possible, providing individualized support, responsive programing and other services that foster long-term stability. **Behavioral Health Resources include information related to mental health and substance use disorders, life stressors and crises, as well as stress-related physical symptoms. Behavioral health care refers to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of these conditions. For a complete list of these resources, please see our online directory where you can also download a printable file in both English and Spanish. https://www.kenoshacounty.org/2242/Behavioral-Health-Community-Directory
