Program Description:
One stop resource for all issues concerning asbestos. Offers advice on how to avoid asbestos exposure with hopes of preventing future unnecessary exposure. Provides information on all prevention matters, how to identify asbestos-containing materials, and what to do with hazardous asbestos products. Provides lists of asbestos testing agencies as well as abatement companies. Patients who have been diagnosed with mesothelioma may be eligible for free medical care through the National Institute of Health or VA health care system. Access website to qualify. SD
