After watching the training video, you can get your FREE Narcan at the Kenosha County Job Center Clinic, 8600 Sheridan Road, Kenosha.
Kenosha County Public Health now has vending machines that dispense free Narcan and other related items at two locations: the Kenosha County Job Center Clinc (8600 Sheridan Road) Hours 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday, The Sharing Center (25700 Wilmot Road, Trevor) Hours 24/7 located outside, and The WIC Office (2000 63rd Street, Kenosha) Hours 24/7 located outside.
Fentanyl test strips also available: Fentanyl test strips, which allow for the testing of other substances for the presence of fentanyl — a deadly opioid that is added to many drugs — are now legal under a 2022 change to Wisconsin state law. Kenosha County Public Health now provides these along with Narcan at the Job Center Clinic and in the vending machines. Additionally, the HOPE Council vending machine includes test strips for Xylazine, a dangerous tranquilizer that is increasingly being found in the illegal drug supply.
