Program Description:
The National LGBT Cancer Network* is offering FREE online peer support groups to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender cancer survivors (internet access required to participate). Many LGBTQIA+ survivors do not feel welcome or understood in mainstream support groups and transgender survivors have been especially excluded.
The National LGBT Cancer Network is currently running cancer peer-support groups. There are free Zoom peer-support groups for LGBTQIA+ individuals who have or have had cancer. They are offered three times a week.
Another place to find support is Facebook. Some Facebook Private Groups are:
Lesbian Cancer Survivors and Caregivers– private Facebook Group

Escape Virtual Meetups – support groups for LGBTQIA+ Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Patients, Survivors, and Caregivers.

Camp Kesem(supports kids 6-18 who have been impacted by a parent’s cancer, whether that parent/primary caregiver currently has cancer, is in remission, or passed away from cancer)
FORCE (provides different live event opportunities for LGBTQIA+ people navigating hereditary cancer and more)
