Program Description:
Offers a listing of drug companies that have special programs to assist people who can't afford their medication or health care costs. Provides information an in some cases the actual applications needed to access the medication programs. Provides information on disease specific assistance programs, and drug discount cards. The NeedyMeds Drug Discount Card provides users with savings of up to 80% off the cash price of prescription drugs, OTCs and medical supplies written as a prescription, and pet prescriptions purchased at a pharmacy. Currently the drug discount card is saving users nearly $4 million per month with average savings of 50% per prescription. You can also save up to 40% off durable medical equipment, including canes, crutches, splints, incontinence supplies and more.
