Program Description:
The staff at NCI specialize in the neuropsychological assessment of adults (age 18+) with known or suspected cognitive impairment due to medical, neurological, or psychiatric conditions. Populations served include individuals with memory disorders, traumatic brain injury, vascular injuries (e.g., stroke), neurological disease (e.g., Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis), and Attentional and learning disorders. NCI also has a licensed psychotherapist who utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), relaxation work, and health behavior coaching. She sees age 18+ for anxiety, depression, stress, PTSD, bipolar, autism (therapy only, no testing), OCD, grief counseling, life transitions, coping skills, and self-esteem, and seniors experiencing life and health status changes. Christian counseling also available.
