Program Description:
Public Library Collection: Large print books, Audio books, Popular Fiction and Non Fiction, DVD's, Print/Scan/Fax services, Phone/Computer/Internet Access
The Northside Library has the largest collection of materials for individuals who are Blind, Low Vision or have a physical disability. This site also acts as a liaison to the Wisconsin Regional Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped. The Bookmobile is a library on wheels, to allow greater access to the library system and materials.

- Playaway products, small audio players that come preloaded with an entire audiobook, regardless of length

- Home Delivery services For residents east of I-94 who are prevented from visiting the library by a long-term illness or disability, and who have no family or friends able to assist them with library service. Residents who are homebound are assigned to a staff member who selects books and other materials and arranges for delivery to residents’ homes.
- Semi-Homebound Accommodations – Same qualifications as Home Delivery, but a family member or friend picks up and delivers pre-selected materials to the homebound individual, please call, 262-564-6190.
-Call-In Book Club; 2nd Tuesdays, 2pm, participants must be age 60+
If you have a hard time getting out of the house, but still want to talk about books, try this unique book club! Just like an old-time party line or modern conference call, you just call the special phone number, and we all can hear each other! This is a program of Kenosha Area Family and Aging Services (KAFASI), with the discussion led by a Kenosha Public Library librarian. Please call KAFASI at 658-3508, ext. 110 or 118 to register and get the phone number to call on the day of the discussion.
