Program Description:
The Representative Payee program is a financial management program for individuals that are unable to manage their money to meet basic needs, due to a disability or substance use problem. KHDS will arrange to have the Social Security checks directly deposited into the representatives payee bank account each month. The recipient's monthly bills are then paid out of this account. Remaining funds are made available to the recipient on a schedule that best meets their needs. Can work with utility companies, pharmacies, etc. This is not a case management program, it does not assist with obtaining services for a client. SD, PP **Behavioral Health Resources include information related to mental health and substance use disorders, life stressors and crises, as well as stress-related physical symptoms. Behavioral health care refers to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of these conditions. For a complete list of these resources, please see our online directory where you can also download a printable file in both English and Spanish. https://www.kenoshacounty.org/2242/Behavioral-Health-Community-Directory
