Program Description:
The SSI-Managed Care External Advocacy Projects provices information for people who have questions about the SSI Managed Care Program and provides advocacy services to people enrolled in SSI -Medicaid HMO's
Can help understand the enrollment process, explain rights and responisibilities as a member, continue to make sure you continue to get the care you need from your healthcare providers for the first 3 months of enrollment in the HMO; Help you get specialty care or medical equipment you need, Help you get transportation for Medicaid covered services, help with medical billing problems, and help you appeal decisions by your HMO.
