Program runs from June 1st-September 30th. Clients have until October 31st to redeem checks.
Eligibility:
Income eligible, Kenosha County residence 60 years or older an opportunity to purchase fresh, locally grown fruits, vegetables, and herbs from certified farmers. Native Americans may participate at age 55 and older. One person household $2413/month; 2 person household $3261/month.

Must register in person, encourage Wednesday's 8:30am-3:30pm at the RKCAA office, 2000 63rd Street Kenosha. Call for full details or to schedule alternate day/time to register.

Program Description:
- The Senior Farmer's Market Nutrition program is for low income,Kenosha County seniors age 60 and over, to access fresh produce from participating farmers at Kenosha farmer markets and farm stands. A list of the farmer market locations will be provided during Intake. Participants will receive checks that can be used to pay for fresh fruits and vegetables at specific Farm Stand locations. Call for full details. **Can participate in the Federal Senior Farmer's market program even if already receiving food stamps or participating in other commodity programs. Food Resource
