Program Description:
The Southwest Library is the largest Kenosha Public Library Building, housing the central reference collection, unique children's and teen resources and largest circulating collection.
Adaptive materials for the Blind/ Low Vision:

- Magnifier kit
- Shopping cart
- Walker
- Motorized Scooter (In-house use only)
- Memory Aid Kit collection
- Playaway Products: Small audio players that come preloaded with an entire audio-book, regardless of length
- Homebound services available through Book Mobile office, 262-564-6190
-Call-In Book Club; 2nd Tuesdays, 2pm, participants must be age 60+
If you have a hard time getting out of the house, but still want to talk about books, try this unique book club! Just like an old-time party line or modern conference call, you just call the special phone number, and we all can hear each other! This is a program of Kenosha Area Family and Aging Services (KAFASI), with the discussion led by a Kenosha Public Library librarian. Please call KAFASI at 658-3508, ext. 110 or 118 to register and get the phone number to call on the day of the discussion.
