Program Description:
WisCovered.com was created by the Wisconsin Office of the Commissioner of Insurance (OCI). We are the state agency that educates Wisconsinites about their insurance options. We can also help you file an insurance complaint if you have trouble with your insurance. WisCovered.com was designed to help you find a health insurance expert. A health insurance expert can help you find a plan that meets your needs and budget. Sometimes, your insurance might even be free. A health insurance expert can help you find the best affordable plan for you. These experts work at organizations like Covering Wisconsin, community health centers, and other nonprofits. They have access to all health insurance options available to Wisconsinites from private insurance to BadgerCare Plus. Health insurance experts don’t make money by signing you up for a plan. Call now and ask for help with health insurance. The idea for WisCovered.com was developed as part of Governor Tony Evers’ OCI-DHS Health Care Coverage Partnership’s Marketing Workgroup. This workgroup includes the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) many organizations, insurance companies, and other folks who want to help make sure every Wisconsinite has access to affordable health insurance.
